How Sikhs arrived
Guru Nanak Dev Ji visited Bengal on his travels in the early 1500s, and Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji stayed in Dhaka in the 1660s.
Bangladesh has only a handful of Gurdwaras today, the best known being Gurdwara Nanak Shahi on the University of Dhaka campus.
