Sikhs in Pakistan

How Sikhs arrived

Pakistan holds many of the holiest places in Sikh history. Guru Nanak Dev Ji was born at Nankana Sahib and spent his final years at Kartarpur, on the banks of the Ravi.

Since 2019 the Kartarpur Corridor has let pilgrims from India visit Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur without a visa.
