Ontario Khalsa Darbar is one of the largest and busiest Gurdwaras in North America. It began in 1979 in a small trailer at Dixie and Derry Roads, and its main building was completed in 1989 on a site of about 36 acres, later joined by an outdoor stadium and large parking grounds. Its Gurmat Academy teaches Punjabi and Gurmat music, and the Darbar hosts Akhand Paths, Sukhmani Sahib, Anand Karaj, funeral services and community events such as blood donation drives.
Diwan and langar times can change, so please check with the Gurdwara before you travel. Spotted something out of date? Write to [email protected].
