Sikh Gurdwara San Jose is the largest Gurdwara in the United States, covering almost 100,000 square feet on the hills east of the city. First built in 1984, it is a campus of buildings linked by beautiful walkways and reflecting pools, with Gurbani carried across the grounds by speakers, so it feels like a Gurdwara in Punjab. Its large darbar is richly decorated, with English translations of Gurbani on screens, and the views over San Jose from the front are wonderful.
