Sri Guru Singh Sabha is the only Gurdwara in Mauritius, on the edge of Port Louis at Grand River North West. Built in the mid-1990s by a handful of Sikh families, it is a simple single-storey building with a darbar hall and a langar hall under a distinctive blue roof and golden dome. The sangat gathers on Sunday mornings from 10 am, followed by langar at noon, and many who come are Mauritians of Indian and other backgrounds.
Diwan and langar times can change, so please check with the Gurdwara before you travel. Spotted something out of date? Write to [email protected].
