The Katong Gurdwara grew from a society registered in 1953. Sardar Inder Singh Bajaj bought a bungalow on Wilkinson Road for it in 1962, the neighbouring bungalow followed, and a permanent Gurdwara opened here in 1969. Its present building, with a glass front that blends Sikh and modern design, is full of families and young people, with a large langar hall below the darbar.
Diwan and langar times can change, so please check with the Gurdwara before you travel. Spotted something out of date? Write to [email protected].
