Gurdwara Dera Sahib in Lahore, beside the Badshahi Mosque and the Lahore Fort, marks the place of the martyrdom of Guru Arjan Dev Ji in 1606. Next to it stands the samadhi of Maharaja Ranjit Singh. Pilgrims gather here every year for the Guru’s martyrdom day.
