Sikhs began settling in Korat for business in 1947 and held prayers in their homes until the sangat was large enough to build a Gurdwara. It opened on 23 December 1984 with a parade through the town. The two-storey building has a golden gate and a small garden in front, the langar hall downstairs and the darbar hall above.
