The Sikh Association of Western Australia was registered in 1975, when Perth had only about a dozen Sikhs. It met in homes and halls, bought a small church in Kensington in 1985, and in 1997 bought five acres at Canning Vale. The Gurdwara built there opened on 4 March 2001, and its Sunday langar now feeds hundreds of people.
Diwan and langar times can change, so please check with the Gurdwara before you travel. Spotted something out of date? Write to [email protected].
