Gurdwara Darbar Sahib at Kartarpur, on the Ravi river, stands where Guru Nanak Dev Ji spent the last eighteen years of his life, farming the land and teaching, and where he passed away in 1539. Since 2019 the Kartarpur Corridor has let pilgrims from India visit without a visa, crossing the border just a few kilometres away.
