The Sikh Society of South Australia opened this Gurdwara in March 2006 in the former Colonial Hotel at Glen Osmond, a State Heritage building that dates from 1845. The Gurdwara is the focus of Adelaide’s Vaisakhi celebrations, and the society’s membership has grown quickly with the arrival of many international students.
