Gurdwara Chowa Sahib, inside the great Rohtas Fort near Jhelum, marks the spring that, in Sikh tradition, appeared when Guru Nanak Dev Ji touched the ground here during his travels. The Gurdwara was built in the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh.
